In this book my friend Dave debunks forty “urban legends” (though some of these are not exactly “urban legends” but simply require a little more nuance):

Dave skillfully uses the appropriate exegetical tools for each job. Sometimes he uses the literary context or the historical-cultural context or textual criticism or grammar. This book is well-researched and a delight to read.
