Sincere appreciation indeed! This book stands out as one of the finest re: pastoral care and leadership, as well as teaching theology to a new disciple.
Fun fact: John W. told me he and Don wrote this book via a series of early morning meetings at Denny’s in Highland Park. I’ve been saying it for years: the two ingredients for good theology are a bottomless cup of coffee and a fresh Moons Over My Hammy.
