In 2006 John Frame’s short systematic theology released.
On November 1 (seven years later), his massive systematic theology will release:
John M. Frame. Systematic Theology: An Introduction to Christian Belief. Phillipsburg, NJ: P&R Publishing, 2013. 1,280 pages.
I recently read it, and I’m already planning to use it for some theology classes I’m scheduled to teach in 2014.
It’s typical John Frame: clear, unassuming, logical, and filled with threes. (If John Frame were a basketball player, he would shoot only 3s.) [Read more…] about John Frame’s Systematic Theology

Mike Wittmer is to systematic theology what Carl Trueman is to historical theology: witty and full of (edifying) verve. [Read more…] about Mike Wittmer’s Despite Doubt: Embracing a Confident Faith

I can’t think of another OT seminary professor I’d rather team up with than Jason DeRouchie (pronounced deh-ROW-shee). He embodies Ezra 7:10. We spend about three hours together each week while commuting, and the better I get to know him the more I thank God for him.
Jason has been working on a 500-page book for about seven years, and it releases today:
Jason S. DeRouchie, ed. What the Old Testament Authors Really Cared About: A Survey of Jesus’ Bible. Grand Rapids: Kregel, 2013. 496 pp.
I love the subtitle.
