Geerhardus Vos’s Reformed Dogmatics

March 26, 2011 by Andy Naselli

I’ve been wanting to read this, but my Dutch is about as good as my Ugaritic. And I haven’t been sufficiently motivated to enter Geerhardus Vos’s Dutch systematic theology line by line into Google translate.

Problem (almost) solved: Logos is planning to translate it!

But they need sufficient pre-pub orders first. I placed my order yesterday.

More info.

Will this be available in hard copy? Or just electronic?

The link to logos blog says in place that it will be a “fully linked digital book for use in Logos Bible Software.” In another place it refers to it as a “digital work.” So it seems it will be digital only. This is disappoint to hear, for not all of us prefer electronic books. If they are going to take the time to translate this work, they should make it available in print.

Mark and Michael, we may partner with an established print publisher on projects like this and make it available in print. That’s still TBD.
