    Andy,

I am not familiar with David Peterson or Oak Hill. What would their general theological perspectives be? Nothing was readily apparent on their web site.

    Thanks,

    JP

    JP, good questions.

    1. Peterson: Before I published the Peterson post, I spent about thirty minutes unsuccessfully looking for a web page that would serve as a biographical summary for Peterson. From what I know of Peterson, he is a conservative evangelical along the lines of figures like Peter O’Brien and D. A. Carson. I’ve especially appreciated three of his books: (1) Possessed by God: A New Testament Theology of Sanctification (ed. D. A. Carson); (2) Engaging with God: A Biblical Theology of Worship; and (3) Where Wrath and Mercy Meet: Proclaiming the Atonement Today.

    2. Oak Hill seems conservative. E.g., their faculty wrote Pierced for Our Transgressions: Rediscovering the Glory of Penal Substitution.
