T4G Highlights and Pictures
I thoroughly enjoyed attending T4G 2008 last week (thanks to T4G’s generosity!). It was edifying and God-glorifying.
Here are some highlights and pics:
Highlights
- Talks: thoughtful, bold, edifying, exemplary, moving
- Panel discussions: I love watching those guys interact. I learn so much, especially from C. J. Mahaney.
- Singing: Rich songs stirred our affections.
- Fellowship: nurtured and started many gospel-rooted relationships (cf. the first pic below)
- Books: high-quality free books
- Mohler’s radio program: Al Mohler leads a radio program every M–F from 5 to 6 PM EST, and on Thursday he brought C. J., Lig, and Mark on the show. Thanks to my buddy Owen Strachan, I was able to observe Mohler’s show live, talk with them afterwards, and tour Mohler’s impressive office complex. Understatement: Al Mohler is unusually gifted! I thank God for men like this!

Looks like it was a great conference! Thanks for the pics. I’ve downloaded all and listened to most of the sessions. Do you know if there’s any way to see/hear the panel discussions online?
As far as I know, the panel discussions are not available for downloading yet. I’ll link to them when they are. (They’re instructive and hilarious!)

It was good to get the chance to meet you last week. It was truly a phenomenal week of spiritual refreshment.
