		<description>I hope Goldsworthy’s concept of Hermeneutical Perfectionism gets more widely discussed. I have seen many evangelicals who hold to their interpretation of the Bible as though it was infallible, raising their interpretation to a par with the Bible itself in sacredness. 

We need to question our beliefs, our interpretations more, and put to death our interpretational “sacred cows” when we find them.</description>
